Detailed Description of our Plush Liners
We have been making liners for many years using a specialist fabric called Zorb™ Silvadur®. However we have had many people ask us for a more economic liner using wadding inside, like the majority of our immediate competitors. Although not as effective as absorbing liquid as Zorb™ Silvadur®, wadding liners are a popular choice when used with other items in the cage such as pee pads. More info about the wadding and our usage recommendations for these types of liners can be found below.
We used our experience and many many hours of trial and error to establish that the liners should be made using high quality anti-pil polar fleece on the top and bottom of the liners with a layer of thick 10oz Polyester Wadding sewn in-between the fleece layers. The fleece is anti-pil meaning that it won't bobble and become less effective over time. In fact the fleece wicks liquid away better after multiple washes.
All of the liners are hand made in the UK by experienced and skilled seamstresses.

I am a new guinea pig owner, so I do not know a lot of suppliers for guinea pig items. Originally, I had ordered from Kavee, whom I have had a terrible experience with. Reason I am mentioning Kavee is because they were the first company I came across and without doing any research, I ordered from then and had the worst experience, which was prolonged over a month and caused me a lot of stress and anxiety, and this is not how ordering your products should be! This though, is the reason, I came across Cand E Cosies. I had a cage, with no liners for my 4 little piggies and it reminded me how essential it is, to do your research and check who you are ordering from. All this turned out well though in the end, as we put our trust into CandE Cosies, and they did not disappoint. If you read their bio on their website, you will find this interesting and see that they really care about animals.
There are many designs to choose from and I struggled to choose which designs I liked so it took me a few days to choose. Just means I will have to come back and buy more! The items came in the time frame stated on the website, all packaged well and are beautifully made. I believe we have had the items for over a month now and all liners have been used and have washed well.
We will be coming back and ordering from yourselves again. Thank you for making such beautiful liners for my little piggies. They love them!
