Description

All of our cosy tunnels are made from excellent quality materials and make the perfect addition to your accessories collection. Ideal as a place for your little ones to rummage around in or even to snuggle up and sleep. They are also fun items to have when you are just having some play time with your pets.

The cosy tunnels are soft and collapse in the middle but stay rigid and open at both ends. this means your little ones will love having a rummage but also feel secure inside. They are all made with patterned fabric around the middle on the outside and anti-pil polar fleece at the ends and all the way through the inside of them.

Why we use Zorb® Silvadur™

So why do we use Zorb™ Silvadur® in our absorbent products (excluding Memory Foam Mats)? Simple really, its amazing but for a bit more detail then carry on reading below.

It is designed to be used in reusable nappies, is thin, lightweight and highly absorbent. Nothing on the market is more effective or comparable. We were one of the first UK bulk importers of Zorb™ and now Zorb™ Silvadur®, which we used in all of our cage liners.

Zorb™ Silvadur® is 20 times faster at locking away liquid than any other material including cotton, bamboo and microfibre which are used in other cage liners. It also absorbs 10 times it's weight in liquid in half a second. In addition it is thin (thick liners don't necessarily mean quality), lightweight, quick drying and can be tumble dried on a low setting.

The Silvadur® Antimicrobial properties inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi and algae on the fabric thus controlling bad odours, improving overall hygiene and providing continuous freshness protection. We are the first in the UK to use this as standard within all of our liners, setting the bar for quality higher still and showing how innovative we are.

Washing Instructions

All of our accessories can be washed. These simple instructions will help you get the best from your new purchases.

  1. If your accessory has a removable pee pad, remove it and shake to remove loose debris.
  2. Give the accessory a good shake to remove loose debris.
  3. Wash on a 30/40°C cycle.
  4. Line Dry. Do NOT tumble dry.

I’ve had my girls just over a week and they’re still scared of us but they love to jump from their hay trays into the cosy tunnel to get to their veggies at the other end of the cage! They also take naps and eat in the tunnel. They also like to sit (and pee mainly) under their corner hide which is over their hay tray. They also like to spend time in the cuddle cube! All have been washed and come out fine.

It was a surprise

At first I wasn't sure about this tunnel as it isn't rigid, but my guinea pigs absolutely love to charge through it or sit on top of it.

Cosy, contented piggies

These cosy tunnels are perfect and very reasonably priced. We had one quite stressed guinea pig - it's just her nature to like to be a bit dominant - and we had to make a few changes to our set-up to try to calm things down. They all love the cosy tunnels; somewhere warm and snug for the timid ones to retreat and have a safe snooze and a fun tunnel for them all to nosey their way through when they are all pop-corning round their cage. We will be buying more!
